Who we are
Cloud Native Austin is the official CNCF chapter serving the Central Texas technology corridor. Our members range from individual contributors and lead architects to CTOs at the region's largest engineering hubs. We trade architectural insights, solve hard production problems, and share what we are building in a friendly, inclusive environment.
We host production-grade technical talks. Speakers come from all backgrounds, whether CNCF maintainers or local engineers with a war story, as long as they bring engineering depth instead of a sales pitch.
Kubernetes Austin is now Cloud Native Austin
Same community, new name. Cloud Native Austin is the new name for Kubernetes Austin. They are not two separate groups.
Find us at our new home: cloudnativeaustin.com.
We renamed the meetup to broaden the scope of the projects and talks we support. Kubernetes remains a core topic, but sessions now go beyond it: observability, security, networking and eBPF, AI/ML infrastructure, platform engineering, FinOps, and the wider CNCF ecosystem.
